prussian blue

feeling prussian blue

We were delighted to receive this Prussian blue jacket and skirt.  Such a lovely departure from the traditional fall colors.  If you want you could add a russet turtleneck and scarf.  Just a twist for fall.
The Furla handbag reminds us of a caramel apple.  We are already starting to think of fall food favorites. Pumpkin, Persimmons, Saffron, Cinnamon ... well on and on.

Rich caramel Furla sets off the cool blue tone.

We added brown tones with the jacket but saffron or butternut or sweet potato colors would work.

Dark brown and Prussian blue

And then we found more inspiration... we love this exquisite dining room with Prussian blue recessed woodwork.

That touch of blue to make you stand out although with these legs and shoes you might not need it.

Wouldn't this make a lovely change from black?

Haute Hippie's version

Prussian blue (almost teal) dress with chili pepper colored leather belt. Notice the beautiful plunging neckline.  Lovely for day or night.

Now that you are thinking about chili peppers and tomatoes. The Bazaar August issue has a lovely late summer Tomato Soup recipe on pg. 118.  Also for those of you who really like to cook and appreciate fresh peppers, here is a lovely recipe for tortilla soup.

For more Prussian blue pieces take a peek at the August issue of Bazaar.  Gabriela Perezutti Hearst is wearing a Celine dress that is somewhere between deep blue and purple with a denim jacket on pg. 190.  Make sure to notice her striking pin.  Also in Bazaar, there is also a stunning advertisement for Celine with thigh high Prussian blue boots paired with a white dress.

One more Prussian blue inspiration before we go...
