We are casual hikers ( and bikers and swimmers ) and at least one of us got completely lost in Percy Warner on the 4.5. Thankfully the out-of-towner companion had phone GPS. It was very funny - Afterward.
Peter Millar cashmere vest and Joe's black cotton soft pants.
THE GREENWAY BEHIND PUBLIX ON WEST END IS PERFECT. YOU CAN WALK HALFWAY AND STOP FOR BAGELS AND CREAM CHEESE AND THEN FINISH YOUR WALK. AND STILL HAVE ENERGY TO GROCERY SHOP WHILE LOOKING GREAT AS YOU WILL NO DOUBT RUN INTO SOMEONE YOU KNOW.
I feel confident in saying that we are not going to hike in cold weather but this Cabi is lightweight and has a removable hood. For nonhikers it is great for running from car to Whole Foods, CeCe Yogurt, Silly Goose any boutique especially Designer Finds ....well you get the point walk walk walk it burns holiday calories.
HAVE YOU BEEN ON THE WALKING BRIDGE YET AT THE END OF BROAD.
EVEN ON A BLUSTERY DAY IT IS BEAUTIFUL. THE LIGHTS AT NIGHT ARE LOVELY, TAKE A FRIEND AND HAVE A LITTLE FUN BEING A TOURIST FOR A NIGHT.
Okay we admit NO ONE would hike the trails in white or even bike especially on damp streets. But for a walk around the urban area this is perfect. The park is just a few miles from downtown. The ranking by Fodor’s travel notes the easy access, as well as the towering hardwoods and a natural spring.
