autumn begins Tuesday, September 23 and ends Sunday.

okay it is still hot ....but please pick up the Nashville Scene magazine and make plans to go someplace old or new.  here are a few of the things we are doing this week:  dinner at Chateau West, if it doesn't rain taking kids to the Parthenon, definitely Live on the Green, there is talk of the State Fair, and someone mentioned going to the Frist exhibit.  Shipley' s donuts, we have just discovered and love the maples especially.  Also we suggest Bobby's Dairy Dip with its famous ice cream.

we are not sure why but we all think that a cape somehow reminds us of London.
and this week we heard NPR and also one of the news networks report that the iconic red booth is in jeopardy.  we hope that the Londoners find a way to save this landmark.
